Videos About Children With Heart Conditions
For more than 10 years the Stiftung Kinderherz has been supporting projects to help children with congenital heart defects. In 2016 the non-profit organisation, sponsored by the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Research in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), launched the KinderHerz-Innovationspreis NRW for the first time. For this competition, we were commissioned to produce a series of films and were responsible for the editorial design of the films, in addition to filming and postproduction.
For the shooting we went on the road all over NRW and visited all the participating scientists teams in their clinics and captured them and their projects on film. In addition to the interviews and shooting with the doctors involved, there was a strong focus on working with the small patients whose touching stories are revealed in the films.

Presentation At The Award Ceremony
The videos of the innovation prize were presented to the public for the first time as part of the award ceremony on 7 December 2016 in Münster, and are also being shown by the Stiftung KinderHerz on their Youtube channel and their Facebook page. On this youtube channel the social media videos are all lined up alongside films from other projects, which also support the foundation.

Winning Project for “Newcomers”: Strengthening the Hearts of Children with Diabetes and Other Diseases
In addition to the project documentations, we were responsible for all video in relation to the event. This means that we produced all the video inserts as well as the event film. Among the insert films which were projected over the course of the event were several winning films and a trailer. This trailer was also used as online advertising for the event.
